The collaboration will explore the integration of SATIM’s OREC AI SAR analysis layer with IMSAR’s Lisa 3D mission management and PED environment, bringing automated SAR target detection and classification directly into the operator workflow.
Kielce, Poland – September 10, 2026 – SATIM and IMSAR have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on the integration of SATIM’s OREC AI SAR analysis layer with IMSAR’s Lisa 3D command, control, processing, exploitation and dissemination platform.
The planned integration will bring OREC’s automated SAR analysis capabilities directly into the Lisa 3D operational environment, enabling operators to access AI-enabled detections and classifications as part of the same workflow used to manage missions and work with sensor data.
The MoU marks the next step in an existing collaboration between SATIM and IMSAR. In May 2026, the companies announced that OREC had been successfully tested on imagery collected by IMSAR’s UAV-based SAR systems, confirming OREC’s ability to extend from satellite to airborne radar data. The new agreement moves the cooperation further, from validating compatibility at the sensor-data level towards integration within the operator’s mission environment.
IMSAR’s Lisa 3D provides operators with a unified environment for controlling ISR sensors, planning collections, visualizing SAR and moving-target products, and combining information from multiple sensor sources. Integrating OREC will add an AI SAR analysis layer capable of automatically detecting and classifying objects in SAR imagery and delivering structured outputs directly into that operational picture.
OREC is SATIM’s sensor-agnostic AI SAR analysis layer for defence and intelligence applications. It automatically detects and classifies objects including vessels, aircraft and land vehicles in SAR imagery and is designed to work across different sensors, collection platforms and ISR architectures.

Under the MoU, SATIM and IMSAR will define the technical integration between the two platforms and evaluate operational use cases in which OREC-based detections and classifications can be displayed and exploited directly within Lisa 3D.
The cooperation is intended to create a more integrated path from SAR collection to intelligence, combining IMSAR’s radar systems and mission software with SATIM’s automated analysis layer.
As more and more sensor data becomes available, operators need automation that helps integrate data from various sources.
