Bartosz Książkiewicz has joined SATIM as Head of Data and Domain Intelligence – a role at the heart of our commitment to building the most operationally grounded SAR analytics solution in the field.
Few commercial SAR platforms have an analyst on board with experience across both national defense doctrine and NATO alliance-level ISR operations. Bartosz brings over 13 years of operational IMINT experience: seven years at the Polish Ministry of Defense, three in a NATO multinational ISR unit as a Senior Imagery Analyst, and three as an ISR Specialist in deployments across Asia and the Middle East. He has served for over 20 years altogether.
As Head of Data and Domain Intelligence, he shapes how SATIM understands and serves the analyst and the decision maker. His leadership of analyst onboarding and training has already sharpened the team's operational context – translating directly into more robust training datasets and stronger detection performance in OREC, our AI-powered SAR data analytics software.
SAR analysts are working with one of the most capable sensors ever built — and most of the value is still left in the data. With Bartosz, we’re making sure that what we’re building is exactly what brings operational advantage to the end-users. – Stanisława Porzycka-Strzelczyk, CTO
Bartosz’s appointment directly accelerates SATIM's detection performance validation pipeline, the critical path to integration with allied ISR infrastructure.
I've seen how powerful SAR is in ISR structures. OREC delivers exceptional quality while accelerating data analysis. I’m excited for the challenge ahead: building an operationally grounded intelligence standard. – Bartosz Książkiewicz, Head of Data & Domain Intelligence
Mission-domain expertise embedded into software from the ground up is at the core of SATIM’s products. Bartosz is strengthening the team to help us take it to the next level.
